Wonderful local bar/restaurant. In Winter, lunch during the week. Summers are fabulous with the outside seating available. Sundays, it's just across the street from the famous market of Langeais...great for a coffee.

Located in a picturesque street, leading to the castle with formica tables you could think 'this is a tourist trap'. Boy, would you be wrong! The staff is very friendly and the food is top notch. It's incredible what they can do for 60-70 euros for 2. Three great courses each and a few drinks each. The fish of the day was cooked to perfection and the café gourmand is second to none. Easily recommended.

Daily menu very good. Bravo to the chef for the presentation and for the very tasty dishes. Friendly and professional staff. Took an egg in a cocotte and a colander from Jargeau, great for the taste and the eyes. I recommend.

Very nice spot next to the castle where we had a surprisingly good lunch. My wife tried bone marrow, a french traditional which is an acquired taste and a bit too much of a shock for her, but my salmon, chips and vegatables were delicious. Service was great, an older couple and younger chef with good knowledge of the region.

Came across this lovely, unassuming from the outside, bistro and ate a 3 course meal which will go down as one of the best we've ever eaten. Very friendly staff and looking forward to returning with friends.
